When it comes to visiting Thailand’s largest and ever-popular island of Phuket, you are almost guaranteed a time full of thrill, excitement and adventure at nearly every corner. With vibrant streets exuding fun times and great memories to be had, your upcoming trip to Phuket will be nothing short of extraordinary and unforgettable. 1. Visit the Beaches

With just one step onto the golden sands of any of the Phuket beaches, you will quickly learn as to why so many people make their way there each year. 2. Marvel at the Temples

Thailand as a whole is filled with some of the most spectacular and magnificent Buddhist temples. No matter what religion – if any – you are a part of, simply standing in front or exploring within the walls of these incredible temples is absolutely awe inspiring. The two that are not to be missed while scanning our Phuket : Big Buddha and Wat Chalong. If and when you do visit both of these, come prepared with appropriate clothes and a respectful attitude towards the many orange-robed monks you are very likely to meet while there.

3. Find Treasures at Markets

If it is one thing that the Thai people know how to do well – though there are dozens – it is the way they put on a market. If you are hoping to bring home little Thai trinkets and treasures, the markets will have all of that and so much more. Wander through either the Weekend Market, Indy Market or Sunday Night Market and get ready to be blown away by all of the magnificent and incredibly cheap finds that you are sure to fill up your suitcases and backpacks with. Not only are the handicrafts, clothes and jewelry at the markets fantastic, the food alone is to die for. Head there on an empty stomach and ready and willing to try anything remotely tasty looking that comes your way. Don’t eat get too full, or you may miss out on the other Phuket !

4. Explore the Waters by Boat

If you find that lying on the beach is simply lacking that thrill you were hoping would take place during your time in Phuket, then head out on a fun and exciting boat tour to explore the beautiful waters just off shore. Whether you want to hop on a catamaran, a classic Thai longtail boat, a double capacity sail boat for you and your loved one, a decked out yacht or a zippy speed boat, the options are far from few and guaranteed to have you loving every single minute on board. For all those water lovers, this may be your favorite of all Phuket While out at sea, you will get the chance to take part in some fun activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, island exploring and of course some excellent sun bathing. This is one experience you will undoubtedly not want to miss out on while in Phuket.

5. Enjoy the Vibrant Nightlife

Phuket knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to creating some fantastic places to enjoy a night out on the town. This is especially true if you are staying in or near Patong as the area is home to the famous Bangla Road. Make your way there to see a plethora of extremely interesting, unique and lively bars and clubs that will absolutely have you walking away with some crazy stories to tell for those back home. If you are into a more laid back scene (and not enjoying the other Phuket ), head to a beach bar along the shores to sip on your favorite cocktail while breathing in that salty ocean air and as always, taking the time to soak up all of the magnificent beauty that Phuket has to offer each one of its guests.

All of the Phuket should not be ignored. Just remember to pack your suit and suncscreen… and oh yea, make sure you are well rested before the party starts!

A romantic getaway is an exciting way to fan the flame of romance in any relationship. Before you can stroll hand-in-hand in the moonlight, you need to properly prepare for your trip. In this article, I’ll share four to get your vacation started on the right track to ensure your romantic getaway is smooth sailing.

Tip #1: Be sure to make copies of your important documents. If you’re using traveler’s checks make sure you keep the copies with the serial numbers separate from the originals. It also wouldn’t hurt to email the serial numbers, credit card numbers and your passport number to yourself. That way you can access the documents easily via the internet should your luggage or purse be lost or stolen. You can access the internet in almost every country. You can also leave a copy in your safety deposit box or with a trusted relative.

Tip #2: Check for travel alerts for your destination country. These are usually posted and updated by your country’s foreign travel department. It’s important to be aware of travel alerts to see if there are any health-related medical outbreaks or local political uprisings you need to be aware of. Sometimes these alerts can delay your vacation. I had to visit the airport health department office before I boarded my plane to leave Jamaica. At the time, they had a cautionary health alert.

Tip #3: Read up on the customs in the country of your destination. It also is good to know how to say good morning, please and thank you in the language of the country you are visiting. Learn how to properly greet someone. We tend to informal in the United States. In other countries, it is downright rude to address a stranger informally. If you respect the people in the country you’re visiting by learning a few of their customs, you’ll find that their response to you will be warm, friendly and helpful.

Tip #4: Leave a copy of your itinerary with someone you trust at home. Be sure to let them know of any changes. In case of an emergency on their end or your end, you want someone to be able to contact the authorities. They should know where you are or at least where you are supposed to be.

Keep your romantic getaway safe and fun by using these when booking your vacation. Don’t wait until the last-minute. Procrastination cost time, money and unnecessary stress. Advance preparation makes for a smooth trip and a fun vacation for you both.

Are you planning on going on a cruise? Well if this is your very first time, you may not be very sure what to expect. Having a few tips to help you out can be very helpful to you. So, here are some important cruise to keep in mind when you go on a cruise.

Tip #1 – Have a Carry On Bag – The first one of cruise that you’ll need to remember if you’re going on a cruise is to make sure that you have a carry on bag. Once you get on the ship, you’ll want to visit your cabin but you can’t expect your baggage to show up for awhile. So, it’s a good idea to have a carry on that has some clothes and a few essential toiletries on hand.

Tip #2 – Get a Map of the Ship – Cruise ships are huge. You don’t want to get lost and a map can definitely be a huge help to you. Make sure you have the map and take a bit to look it over so that you’ll be able to more easily get around the ship.

Tip #3 – Walk to Where You’re Going – When you are going to dinner or you are going to a show on board, you may want to walk wherever you are going. You’ll find that the elevators are probably going to be full and often many people are trying to wait for an elevator and they may not be in a great mood. So, just go ahead and take a stroll and get a bit of exercise walking to wherever you need to go.

Tip #4 – Keep the Noise Down at Night – If you are out late at night, make sure that you keep the noise down. You don’t want to go around slamming the doors of your cabin, since it can wake many people around you up. So, have some courtesy and shut your doors as quietly as possible to avoid encounters with grumpy cruise mates.

Tip #5 – Avoid Wearing Expensive Jewelry – When you are on a cruise ship, don’t go around wearing your most expensive jewelry so everyone can see it. Of course there will be some formal dinners where you will want to look great, but leave the most expensive jewelry at home. You may become the victim or a thief if you go around flaunting expensive jewelry.

Tip #6 – Tip Generously, is the last one of the cruise listed here; When you are out there on a cruise, make sure that you tip generously whenever possible. Most of the people on the ship make very little money except for by your tips. So, make sure that you are kind enough and generous to give a great tip.
